Waiapu Cathedral welcomes Christians and those who seek to understand Christianity in the Napier South area. Our aim is to make contact with and encourage others to join us in our life-enhancing Christian journey.
Waiapu Cathedral at Napier South, Hawke's Bay is a friendly Christian community where we welcome others to join us in our worship and service to God. Our emphasis is on learning and understanding the Bible and following the example of Jesus and his followers.
The vision of Waiapu Cathedral is to make an impact for God, here in Napier South, Hawke's Bay by helping people understand the enriching messages of eternal hope given to us by Jesus Christ through His words and deeds. Come just as you are - we'd love to get to know you better.

Service Time



Worship:


Sundays at the Cathedral, corner of Browning and Hastings Streets, Napier -


8am: Eucharist in the Maori Chapel.

10am: Choral Eucharist with the Cathedral Choir; Cathedral Kids childrenâ's programme is offered during school terms; one the first Sunday of the month, the 10am service is a Parish Eucharist with the Cathedral Choristers, an inter-active service for all ages; morning tea afterwards.


Sundays at Ormond Chapel, Napier Tce on the second and fourth Sundays of the month:

11am: traditional Holy Communion.




Mid-week at the Cathedral -


Tuesdays, 10.30am: a quiet Eucharist in the Prayer Room
