Welcome! We are the Vineyard Church of the Peninsula, currently meeting in a home in Newport News, Virginia.
We are happy to be in Hampton Roads as members of the growing Community of Churches called ‘Vineyard’ across the US and beyond. As a church of families, we like to celebrate the life Jesus has given us.
Ours is a contemporary, non-stuffy manner when we meet on Sundays at 10 AM. When you visit, you’ll find normal people sipping caffeine and munching on some kind of donut or other similar nutrition source. We try to focus on making our 21st Century lives work with The Bible as a ‘Life Bible’.
We sing, pray, teach and encourage. And we like each other, often hanging around long after our meeting time is over. Whether you just moved to Hampton Roads, got transferred here, have lived here forever, or are just vacationing here, we’re always excited to include new folks in our family. So, the welcome is sincere.
