St Thomas' welcomes Christians and those who seek to understand Christianity in the Gateshead area. Our aim is to make contact with and encourage others to join us in our life-enhancing Christian journey.
St Thomas' at Gateshead, Tyne and Wear is a friendly Christian community where we welcome others to join us in our worship and service to God. Our emphasis is on learning and understanding the Bible and following the example of Jesus and his followers.
The vision of St Thomas' is to make an impact for God, here in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear by helping people understand the enriching messages of eternal hope given to us by Jesus Christ through His words and deeds. Come just as you are - we'd love to get to know you better.

Join us in Christian Fellowship for coffee and a chat.

Summer Fair
Annual Summer Fair. Variety of stalls including Bottle Tombola, Chocolate Tombola, Traidcraft, Books and Cakes.. Raffle & Refreshments. Free Admission.

Holy Communion
All are welcome! Parish Breakfast, Fundraising Produce Stall and Raffle are held on the last Sunday of the month following the service.
Every Sunday at 9:30 AM for 1 hour
Baptism Service (by arrangement)
Baptisms - to book, please contact Mrs Ann Partington (Baptism Secretary). Mrs Partington is also available after the service every Sunday morning.
Every third Sunday at 11:30 AM for 40 minutes
Tuesday
Little Tom's Worship
An activity for primarily but not exclusively for pre-school children. Activities, story and song followed by refreshments. This runs on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month.
Every first and third Tuesday at 10:00 AM for 1 hour
Healing Service
A Service of Healing and reconciliation with the laying on of hands and anointing.
Every last Tuesday at 11:00 AM for 40 minutes
Tom's Tea Room
Come along and joins us for a cup of tea or coffee, a piece of cake and friendly conversation.
Every first and third Tuesday at 2:00 PM for 2 hours
Thursday
Weekday Eucharist
Every Thursday at 11:00 AM for 40 minutes
