Denomination: Roman Catholic
St Theresa's parish is located in East Calder, a small village on the outskirts of Livingston.
The parish was founded in 1893 and the present church building was constructed by the parishioners themselves in 1932.
Primarily a village community, East Calder has been changing over the years and at the present time is experiencing a number of large housing developments that will significantly increase both the local population and the parish community.
St Theresa’s enjoys a very close relationship with St Paul’s Primary school as it is literally just across the car park. Children from the school join us for mass on the first Friday of the month.
