St Saviour welcomes Christians and those who seek to understand Christianity in the Guildford area. Our aim is to make contact with and encourage others to join us in our life-enhancing Christian journey.
St Saviour at Guildford, Surrey is a friendly Christian community where we welcome others to join us in our worship and service to God. Our emphasis is on learning and understanding the Bible and following the example of Jesus and his followers.
The vision of St Saviour is to make an impact for God, here in Guildford, Surrey by helping people understand the enriching messages of eternal hope given to us by Jesus Christ through His words and deeds. Come just as you are - we'd love to get to know you better.

Service Time



Sunday
9.00am Classic Morning Worship
Classic Morning Worship, with Holy Communion on 4th Sundays, will have a mixture of organ-led hymns and modern songs, a sermon and liturgical elements. The Church Café will be open before and after the service, with a pre-service breakfast once or twice a term. There will not be any provision for children at this service.
Every Sunday at 9:00 AM for 1 hour
10.30am Contemporary Morning Service
The 10.30am service will be informal and contemporary in worship style (with Holy Communion on 1st Sundays & BSL on 4th Sundays). The service will include extended worship and ministry times. The Church Café will be open before and after the service, with a lunch once or twice a term.
There will be groups for children aged 0-11 years, including those children with special needs. The weekly children’s registration will be done through an electronic registration process.
Mainstream children will join the service for the first 15 minutes and then head off to their groups. Children with special needs will go straight to their groups.
Trekkers will meet in the Lower Meeting Room (ground floor) and Hikers will meet in the Upper Meeting Room (second floor). The Baby Crèche and Toddlers (0-3 years) will meet in the Meeting Room (first floor) and Glass Room (first floor), Scramblers (preschool/nursery) in the Upper Lounge (second floor), Climbers (Reception-Yr2) in the Coffee Lounge (first floor), and Explorers (Yr3-Yr6) in Reception before walking to Sandfield School. Hub and Wayfs (Yr7-Yr13) will serve as helpers in our children’s groups.
Every Sunday at 10:30 AM for 1½ hours
5.15pm Contemporary Early Evening Service
The 5.15pm service will be informal and contemporary in worship style, with Holy Communion with BSL on 2nd Sundays. The Church Café will be open before the service, and afterHours a new evening café, open from 6.30pm, will be the place to hang-out after the service for pizza and a chat.
There will be groups for children and teenagers (mainstream aged 7-14), including those with special needs (aged 10-18). The weekly children’s registration will also be by an electronic registration process.
Mainstream children will join the service for the first 10-15 minutes, before going to their groups; Explorers (Yr3-Yr6) in the Upper Meeting Room (second floor) & Hub (Yr7-Yr9) in the Lower Meeting Room, (ground floor).
Children with special needs will go straight to their groups. The Trailblazers group (10-18 years) will meet in the Upper Lounge (second floor).
Every Sunday at 5:15 PM for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
7pm Evening Worship
The 7pm Evening Service
The 7pm service will be informal and contemporary in worship style, with Holy Communion on 3rd Sundays. The Church Café will be open before the service, and afterHours will continue to be the place to hangout after the service for pizza and a chat. There will not be any provision for children at this servic
