Denomination: Episcopal Church
Welcome to St. Philip’s Episcopal Church in Coral Gables. We hope that you will join us soon for worship and for service to others, which are at the heart of our life together.
The first service of St. Philip’s Chapel was held at the Coral Gables Women’s Club on January 10, 1943, when 18 people gathered for Evening Prayer and a sermon. By December of that same year, the parishioners had purchased the property at 1142 Andalusia and we have been here ever since. Our parish has continued to grow and flourish as it has sought to deepen the faith of its members in our Lord, Jesus Christ. Each day our campus is alive with the students from our school and their families.
Wherever you are on your journey in faith, there is a place here for you and the people of St. Philip’s look forward to greeting you.
Grace and peace,
The Reverend Dr. Mary E. Conroy
Rector
