St Nicolas welcomes Christians and those who seek to understand Christianity in the Earley area. Our aim is to make contact with and encourage others to join us in our life-enhancing Christian journey.
St Nicolas at Earley, Berkshire is a friendly Christian community where we welcome others to join us in our worship and service to God. Our emphasis is on learning and understanding the Bible and following the example of Jesus and his followers.
The vision of St Nicolas is to make an impact for God, here in Earley, Berkshire by helping people understand the enriching messages of eternal hope given to us by Jesus Christ through His words and deeds. Come just as you are - we'd love to get to know you better.

Every Sunday at 8:00 AM for 40 minutes
Sunday Communion
Our main Sunday Communion Service. Most Sundays, there is a Parish Communion with groups for children and young people and a crèche for the under 3s. For festivals and some special Sundays, it's Everyone Together in the church.
Prayer support is available after every service
Every Sunday at 10:00 AM for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
People Prayers and Potatoes Messy Church
Messy Church. Ideal for families with younger children and those who appreciate a relaxed style of worship. Lots of art and craft. A free baked potato lunch included
First Sunday of the Month
Every first Sunday at 12:00 PM for 1 hour
Oakwood Forest Church
Led by a group of Christians from various local churches
Oakwood Forest Church walk, pray and explore together in
God's natural cathedral.

Crat and Chat
A monthly evening of craft and fellowship. All welcome. No experience needed
Every last Sunday at 7:30 PM for 2 hours
Monday
Noah's Ark @ St Nic's
A service for pre-school children with songs, prayers and playtime. Older children also welcome
Every Monday except Bank Holidays
Every Monday at 9:30 AM for 2 hours
Tuesday
Board Games Cafe
A morning of board games, good company, tea and cake
Takes place every other week - check our website for details
Tuesday at 10:00 AM for 2 hours
Mothers' Union
St Nicolas Mothers' Union meet on the second Tuesday of each month for talks, coffee and fellowship. Members also support charities, e.g. making blankets for the neo-natal unit at the local hospital. You don't have to be a mother, or even female, to come along
Every second Tuesday at 2:15 PM for 2 hours
Wednesday
Midweek Communion
A communion service with music, followed by refrehsments
Every Wednesday at 11:00 AM
Wednesday Space
A short service of Holy Communion, followed by tea and coffee, especially for people living with dementia and their carers
Every second Wednesday at 2:30 PM for 1 hour
