St. Monica is a diverse and vibrant community of faith who believes and professes the gospel of Jesus Christ in the living tradition of the Roman Catholic Church. Our mission is to form loving disciples who will transform the world.
St. Monica Catholic Church, founded in 1886 and at its current location since 1926, serves a congregation of more than 9,000 registered households (not including unregistered congregants, a substantial number), drawn from throughout Southern California, 47 states and Europe. St. Monica Catholic Elementary School, which joined the campus in 1930, and St. Monica Catholic High School, which joined in 1937, provide outstanding academic and faith formation to students primarily from West and South Los Angeles.
