St Mary welcomes Christians and those who seek to understand Christianity in the Middlesbrough area. Our aim is to make contact with and encourage others to join us in our life-enhancing Christian journey.
St Mary at Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire is a friendly Christian community where we welcome others to join us in our worship and service to God. Our emphasis is on learning and understanding the Bible and following the example of Jesus and his followers.
The vision of St Mary is to make an impact for God, here in Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire by helping people understand the enriching messages of eternal hope given to us by Jesus Christ through His words and deeds. Come just as you are - we'd love to get to know you better.

One service every Fifth Sunday in the month bringing together the four congregations in one act of worship.

Family Service
Informal Sunday worship for all the family with a 'Sunday Club' for the children

Messy Church
Messy Church is an all age form of worship where we sing worship songs, pray and learn together while we do crafts and creative activities. If you have never attended "Messy Church" before I suggest you come and join us to find out what it is all about, it is a great way for all the church family to come together and celebrate our faith while enjoying each others company.

Parish Office hour held in the church where the Church Wardens can arrange Baptisms and Weddings or deal with queries.

Evensong
Traditional BCP Evensong with choir and occasional sung anthem.

Fresh Expressions
FX is a church youth group, meeting in the church hall. Various activities and events led by enthusiastic leaders.

Compline
Short act of worship in the form of Compline with Taize songs
Every second Sunday at 6:30 PM for ¾ hour
Monday
Bible Study and Fellowship group
A group meeting once a week to study the Bible and meet fellow christians of St Marys. Light refreshments. Will be held at different venues, see our website for up to date details.

Coffee Morning
Monthly Coffee morning, a chance to meet up and have a natter, put the world to rights. Held in the Church Hall.
