St Mary Magdalene welcomes Christians and those who seek to understand Christianity in the Lincoln area. Our aim is to make contact with and encourage others to join us in our life-enhancing Christian journey.
St Mary Magdalene at Lincoln, Lincolnshire is a friendly Christian community where we welcome others to join us in our worship and service to God. Our emphasis is on learning and understanding the Bible and following the example of Jesus and his followers.
The vision of St Mary Magdalene is to make an impact for God, here in Lincoln, Lincolnshire by helping people understand the enriching messages of eternal hope given to us by Jesus Christ through His words and deeds. Come just as you are - we'd love to get to know you better.

Holy Communion (said)
This is a quiet and still, said celebration - Common Worship Order 1
Every first Sunday at 9:00 AM for 40 minutes
Pre-service Choir Practice
Term-time only
Every Sunday at 10:15 AM for ½ hour
Choral Eucharist
Choral Eucharist is Common Worship Order 1 and is attended by people of all ages and from all walks of life.
A 4-part robed choir sings the service every Sunday (but usually is free from commitment on the Sunday after Christmas Day, the Sunday after Easter Day and during the state-school summer holidays). There is Sunday School for younger children including babes in arms (except during the summer holidays). Coffee is usually served afterwards.

Immediately before Evensong
Every second and fourth Sunday at 5:15 PM for ½ hour
Taize
A quiet, reflective service with Taize chanting, prayers and readings from scripture.
Every first Sunday at 6:00 PM for ¾ hour
Evensong
BCP Evensong with 4-part robed choir is attended by people of all ages and from all walks of life. Children have a supervised quiet area where they can see and hear clearly. The Office is sung throughout. Psalms and canticles are sung to chants. There is always an Anthem. When the Choir is absent, psalm and canticles are are sung to plainsong
Every second and fourth Sunday at 6:00 PM for 1 hour
Songs of Praise
A less-formal service, Songs of Praise usually has a theme relevant to the time of year. (During term-time) the choir contribute anthems suitable for the occasion and the service offers everyone the opportunity for a lot of singing!
Every fifth Sunday at 6:00 PM for 1 hour
Monday
Evening Prayer
This is a short, quiet service (lasting 15 minutes approx.) for the end of the day
Every Monday at 5:45 PM for ¼ hour
Julian Group
This is a quiet time of silent prayer, held regularly on the last Monday of the month, and offers the opportunity for stillness and contemplation in addition to personal prayer
Every last Monday at 6:30 PM for 1 hour
Tuesday
Evening Prayer
This is a short, quiet service (lasting 15 minutes approx.) for the end of the day
Every Tuesday at 5:45 PM for ¼ hour
Wednesday
Holy Communion
This is a plain celebration of the Eucharist for the middle of the week
Every Wednesday at 10:00 AM for ½ hour
Evening Prayer
This is a short, quiet service (lasting 15 minutes approx.) for the end of the day
Every Wednesday at 5:45 PM for ¼ hour
Thursday
Evening Prayer
This is a short, quiet service (lasting 15 minutes approx.) for the end of the day
