Denomination: Episcopal Church
St. Luke's Episcopal Church had it's beginnings in the homes of its members and continued in that fashion until the present sturcture was completed in July 1931.
Then, as now, we are fathers and mothers; we are children of all ages - infants to teenagers. Some of us live alone, some of us have raised our children and now enjoy being grandparents. Our members live in and about Eastchester, NY sharing many of the jobs and challenges of life in these small villages.
We are a parish that actively cares about each other in good times and in bad. Spiritual growth and education in the Faith is an important part of life in this parish family. Our outreach mission activites are founded in the teachings and ministries of Jesus Christ and nurtured by the fellowship that makes us all one.
Our Sunday Eucharist is at 10AM followed by a parishioner-hosted coffee hour. Children actively participate in the liturgy on the first Sunday of every month by serving as lay readers and acolytes.
