St. John serves the communities of Rosenfeld, Altona, Lowe Farm and St. Jean Baptiste. We form a two-point parish with Church of the Cross in Morris. We offer a spirituality founded in the Lutheran understanding of grace. Our worship service time varies from 9:00 am to 10:00 am to 11:00 am, depending on the schedule and season. During the summer we alternate Sunday worship weekly with our sister congregation. We invite everyone to call the church at (204)324-6041 to confirm worship times. Holy Communion is celebrated the second and fourth Sundays of each month plus Festival days. Children are invited to commune. While we do not currently have a Sunday School, we have children's books and other quiet activities for active minds and fingers! Our youth meet the last Friday of each month, September through May, for a youth event. We have gone bowling, trampolining and treasure hunting - to name a few activities! We enjoy coffee, cake and conversation after worship when our service time is at 9 am, and before worship when our service time is 10 or 11 am.
