St Giles welcomes Christians and those who seek to understand Christianity in the Sandiacre area. Our aim is to make contact with and encourage others to join us in our life-enhancing Christian journey.
St Giles at Sandiacre, Derbyshire is a friendly Christian community where we welcome others to join us in our worship and service to God. Our emphasis is on learning and understanding the Bible and following the example of Jesus and his followers.
The vision of St Giles is to make an impact for God, here in Sandiacre, Derbyshire by helping people understand the enriching messages of eternal hope given to us by Jesus Christ through His words and deeds. Come just as you are - we'd love to get to know you better.

Every third Sunday at 8:00 AM for 35 minutes
Parish Eucharist
Sung service with sermon and hymns, following the pattern of the Revised Common Lectionary. On the first Sunday of each month, coffee is served in the Church Hall after the service. On other Sundays coffee is served in Church after the service.
Every Sunday at 9:30 AM for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Evensong
Traditional either sung or said with sermon. Winter start time 16:30 and Summer (BST) 18:30

Fellowship Group
We meet in a member's home to study, explore and discuss a wide range of topics relevant to our faith. Refreshments are offered after the meeting

Meeting in the Church Hall, a varied programme of invited speakers and outside visits
We meet usually twice a month evening 7.45pm or 2.30pm

Family House Group
On Wednesday nights during term time we have a small group that gather together to share the ups and downs of life and look at Gods word on a variety of issues. We sometimes have a time of worship, reflective prayer or a short study on issues relevant to families (Young and Old) and all the situations we face and how we can make a difference to others in our lives. Its a chance to support each other and deepen friendships with others in our community. Messy Church
Once a month we gather in the Methodist Church to offer Messy Church. This is normally a Saturday and runs from 4 - 5.30 pm. This is a form of church for children and adults that involves creativity, celebration and hospitality. Typically it includes a welcome, a long creative time to explore the biblical theme through getting messy; a short celebration time involving story, prayer, song, games and similar; and a sit-down meal together at tables. All elements are for, and should include, people of all ages, adults and children. Children must be accompanied by adult.
