Denomination: Anglican Church
Our Mission
Our mission is to know Christ and to make Him known. This means deepening our own lives of faith and practice, and reaching out to others to share the gospel as a community of faith.
Our Location
St. Aidan’s sits at the corner of Queen Street East and Silver Birch Avenue, near the Neville Park streetcar loop. We are steps from the Boardwalk and Lake Ontario, and surrounded by an array of majestic Oaks and Maples. In our lively “small town” neighbourhood of bistros, pubs and shops, we are in another world from downtown Toronto, yet close to the hub of Ontario and Canada.
How We Help
Our outreach programmes are extensive – from Out Of The Cold to our Christmas lunch, Faithworks to our work on behalf of Moorelands Camp, and the Anglican Church Women’s programmes. St. Aidan’s is blessed with active and caring leaders that engage and make a real difference in the community. Our volunteer teams and opportunities are amazing.
What Matters to Us
We are a welcoming community that pays attention to the world around us and is looking for opportunities to help and make a difference. Helping people find their place in a community of worship and spiritual growth is of the utmost importance for us. We work together, growing spiritually, being mentored, and developing love, friendship and community.
