Shirley Hills Baptist Church is a participating member of the Southern Baptist Convention, the Georgia Baptist Convention, and the Rehoboth Baptist Association. We hold to doctrinal positions that are best expressed in The Baptist Faith and Message.
Though what we believe is fundamentally important, the first thing you’ll hear about our church probably won’t be our affiliation with any of the groups we support. Rather, you’ll probably hear terms like, “this is a loving church,” or “this is a missions-minded church.” We have kept our focus on missions from the first year of our existence, in 1963, when we were a mission start of Second Baptist Church in Warner Robins. We have had only three senior pastors since the church was constituted and each of them have led our church to greater growth in faith and service to our community.
