Welcome to the faith community of St. James', Orillia. We exist to share and serve Jesus Christ. The message and mission sound simple but the many ministries of this church are anything but simple! We take our work seriously here as we feed the hungry, cloth the needy, house the homeless and provide for the lost. St. James' annually devotes nearly one third of its budget to reaching out in the community, the nation and the world.
We are always innovating and exploring new concepts and new directions in the church as we worship and proclaim our Christian faith. This last year we began to expand our ministries to a variety of areas. That has even allowed us to re-organize our structure and governance to accommodate our various ministries. Individuals can be involved in over 30 fields that offer over 800 hours a week in time!
Please come by our buildings and be welcomed when you visit our city on the lake. We are known as the most friendly faith community in the area.
