Welcome to the Parish of Sacred Heart & St Gerard, Bellshill in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Motherwell.
Our parish was founded in 2018 as an amalgamation of the Sacred Heart Parish, founded in 1949 by Father James Butler, and St Gerard's Parish, founded in 1967 by Father Patrick Moss. Having been served by one priest since 2013, the two parishes were amalgamated in 2018 by Bishop Joseph Toal to form one new parish to serve the Catholic community in Bellshill.
