Otterbein UMC at Hagerstown, Maryland is a friendly Christian community where we welcome others to join us in our worship and service to God. Our emphasis is on learning and understanding the Bible and following the example of Jesus and his followers.
The vision of Otterbein UMC is to make an impact for God, here in Hagerstown, Maryland by helping people understand the enriching messages of eternal hope given to us by Jesus Christ through His words and deeds. Come just as you are - we'd love to get to know you better.

Service Time




The church has an active program for all ages that provides a balanced emphasis on worship, study, outreach, and fellowship. There are numerous choirs and musical groups. The unique and excellent pipe organ was installed by Moller in 1969. The current membership is over 900. The pastor is Rev. Dr. Stephen D. Robison and the program director is Cindy Brown.
