Our Misson
We at Oakwood are seeking to glorify Jesus Christ. As His Spirit of love and unity rules among us, we seek to worship God, to build one another through teaching and mutual ministry, and to evangelize at home and abroad.
Our Vision
That our Church:
- Would be a place where hurting, the depressed, the frustrated, and the confused can find love, acceptance, help, hope, forgiveness, guidance and encouragement.
- Would be a place of sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with the many residents in the Oakwood community.
- Would equip every believer for a significant ministry by helping them discover the gifts and talents God has given them.
- That Oakwood Baptist Church, will minister to the whole person, spiritually, emotionally, physically and socially.
