Denomination: Free Methodist Church
Northwest FMC started in 1982, then called Agape Free Methodist Church, as a group that gathered at La Petite Childcare on 13th and Maize. This small group of people had a vision of the future growth of the northwest side of Wichita, so they set out to spread the good news of Jesus to this growing side of Wichita.
In 1991 we built our first building on Maize Road north of 21st st. It was at this point we became Northwest FMC. We continued to see the need for the gospel of Jesus here in the Northwest side of Wichita.
In 2007 we moved again to our current location on Tyler Rd. In each of these moments we have continued to sense that God still has work to do here in the Northwest side of Wichita.
We hope that you'll join us as we seek to spread the good news of Jesus here in Wichita. We know that he offers abundant life far greater than what we can build with our own two hands, and the world needs to know of this!
