Denomination: Baptist
Welcome to the Northreach Baptist Church – Following Jesus, Reaching People.
We are a community of believers in Jesus. Our worship style is contemporary, our dress is casual and we have a great desire to equip people to reach their full potential, so our teaching is always relevant.
We value families and youth, so we provide a children’s program for primary school aged children during the morning service, commencing at 9:30am.
Nursery and toddlers’ facilities are also available during each morning service, and our evening service at 6:30pm has a strong young adults focus.
Our Bible College on campus, Northreach Bible College, is a partner of the Registered Training Organisation, The Training Collaborative. The college provides nationally recognised training for rural, regional and remote ministry.
If you are new to our church, have a look around and get to know us. We are a welcoming church of more than 800 people who are keen on connecting with members of the wider community of Townsville and beyond. We are happy to assist you in anyway we can.
In 2010, we changed our name from Townsville District Baptist Church to Northreach. We believe this name reflects the purpose and future direction of our church, to reach the people in rural, regional and remote areas of North Queensland with the good news of Jesus Christ.
There are a number of ways you can discover who we are. Our website will help you explore more about who we are and what we’re doing. You are invited to join us in any of our activities, including our services this Sunday. Our small groups meet in people’s homes around the city during the week.
If you would like to contact us, you can click on the Contact Us link and let us know you visited. We’d also appreciate your feedback about our website, our ministries and any suggestions you may have, so please fill in the Feedback Form when you can.
