Minster Church of St Michael welcomes Christians and those who seek to understand Christianity in the Sunderland area. Our aim is to make contact with and encourage others to join us in our life-enhancing Christian journey.
Minster Church of St Michael at Sunderland, Tyne and Wear is a friendly Christian community where we welcome others to join us in our worship and service to God. Our emphasis is on learning and understanding the Bible and following the example of Jesus and his followers.
The vision of Minster Church of St Michael is to make an impact for God, here in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear by helping people understand the enriching messages of eternal hope given to us by Jesus Christ through His words and deeds. Come just as you are - we'd love to get to know you better.

Join us for FEAST at 11.15am on Sunday mornings in the Minster. All ages welcome
Itâ€™s a bit different every week!
We make music together; we explore the Bible together; we pray; you might like to join in a craft activity, or a discussion, or simply sit quietly for a little while. Itâ€™s a great format for families, with something for everyone. We finish with an optional short Eucharist before gathering together for refreshments.
