Denomination: Baptist
Millom Baptist Church is a group of ordinary people called to be a community of grace. As a church we seek to follow the teaching of Jesus, when he said “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”
Believers Baptism
We see that baptism is linked to personal faith and trust in Jesus Christ as our saviour and Lord – the baptism is by full immersion. This means we are raised in the power of God and now live in the power of God.
Infant Dedication and Thanksgiving
We do not baptise or christen babies, but we offer services of Infant Dedication and Thanksgiving.
Millom Baptist Church would like to invite you to our services and would welcome you to any of our future events. If you are new to the area, we hope that you settle down very quickly into your new home in Millom town, if we can help in any way please let us know.
If you are on holiday, we hope you are having a lovely time enjoying this beautiful area of Cumbria and we extend a warm welcome to you – our Sunday morning services begin at 11.00
We are members of the Baptist Union, the Evangelical Alliance and the local Churches Together.
