Denomination: Baptist
Middlesbrough Baptist Church
is a modern, light building, where you are assured of a warm welcome.
Our service at 10:30 am every Sunday is appropriate for all: children and young people are very much welcomed. Lighthouse for children aged 5 to 12 meets during the service. A crèche is available for very young children who are also welcome to use the 'break-out' area at the back of the church. Sometimes we have all-age worship when we all stay in together.
We sing a variety of traditional hymns and modern worship songs. Sermons are Bible-based, relevant, and encouraging. After the service we serve refreshments - please stay and join us.
If you've never been to church before or you're a bit nervous about what to do, please contact us in advance and we can arrange for someone to meet you beforehand, to sit with you and to explain things to you. If you need a lift to church please let us know.
Come and enjoy worship with us!
Middlesbrough Baptist Church dates from 1849 and was located in the town centre until moving to its current premises on Cambridge Road in Linthorpe in 1958.
