We are a group of churches in the Bolton and Rochdale district of the Methodist Church.
The circuit covers an area in and around Bury, from Ramsbottom in the north down to Prestwich in the south. We're a few miles north of Manchester city centre.
The circuit's role is to enable the local churches, individually and collectively, to proclaim the Gospel of Christ through worship, witness and service. It has responsibilities in the following areas:
Appointing both ordained and lay people for leadership, preaching, teaching and pastoral care.
Providing (jointly with local churches where appropriate) suitable accommodation for congregations and ministers.
