Denomination: Lutheran Church
Values and Vision
OUR VALUES
We will worship our Eternal God and proclaim timeless truths in a way that will touch the people of today.
We will be a people that receive and share God's grace.
We will be a place where everyone is truly welcome, where they can find comfort, hope, and strength.
We are committed: to be rooted in God's Word and Sacraments, to grow and mature as God's disciples, to bear the fruit of God's love.
Our ministries will focus on people and not on programs.
We will be a community of faith, that exercises Godly wisdom and models Godly excellence.
We will honor yesterday but work toward tomorrow.
We will be urgent about the growth of God's kingdom not just the growth of our congregation.
OUR VISION
God's vision for His Church is our vision for the Church,
and is given to us in Acts 1:8 -
"You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you;
and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem,
and in all Judea and Samaria,
and to the ends of the earth."
The vision of Immanuel Lutheran Church, and therefore the lens through
which the Council makes all decisions is:
God with us ... Bringing Him to others
