Denomination: Anglican Church
"Following Jesus; Building Community"
The Anglican family that forms this church, believes that God is the Creator and Sustainer of this world, that He has clearly spoken to us in the Lord Jesus Christ, His Son, our Saviour, and empowers us by His Spirit to glorify Him in our worship, our common life together and our service to the community.
If you want to know more about Jesus then come along and ask us but if that may be a little intimidating, then have a look at this website about Jesus http://www.rejesus.co.uk/ or this New Zealand website with questions and answers about the Christian faith https://10daychallenge.co.nz/faithqa/
Our logo reminds us of the one true God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, three persons in One.
Our logo also reminds us of our interrelated relationships to God (UP), to one another in the body of Christ (IN) and to those who are not yet within the body of Christ (OUT). We will be developing these three themes within our website.
We gather together each Sunday at 8.45am for a traditional prayer book service and at 10.45am for a more informal service with Kid's Church and creche.
Our attractive wooden church building, featured in the pictures, was originally completed in 1872 but extended in 1984 to make a wider area at the front.
Holy Trinity Church and our satellite church, St Albans, are part of Richmond Parish, which forms part of the Anglican Diocese of Nelson www.nelsonanglican.org.nz
