Denomination: Anglican Church
You’ll find us at 168 Stanmore Rd Richmond, Christchurch near the intersection with Avonside Drive. Since our church was destroyed then demolished following the quakes, our worship space is our wooden St Francis Hall. This hall has been renovated and improved and makes a very pleasant worship or meeting space with kitchen and toilet facilities. It is a good size for our congregation.
In general, if you wish to make contact with anyone in the parish, a good place to start is to phone 389 6948. Your best chances of getting to talk to a real person are on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings. If there’s nobody free to take your call, you can leave a message. The vicar and administrators offices are in the St Francis Hall building.
Or you can send an email to: [email protected]
Our Parish Administrator is Colleen.
Our Vicar is Revd Jill Keir.
Our Vicar’s Warden (a parishioner chosen by Revd Jill Keir) is Elizabeth Falconer.
Our People’s Warden (a parishioner elected by the parish to represent them) is Ed Hitchcock.
Our two wardens are also our synod representatives.
Our other vestry members are Veronica Bussey, Elizabeth Forbes, Subin Jacob, Gay McLean, Johnann Williams, Christine Macey and Tony Humphreys.
