Welcome to Grace Pointe Church!
We are a community of believers seeking to be gospel-centered, Word-driven, missional-minded, disciple-making, community-building, church-planting, Spirit-filled, Christ-exalting, and God-glorifying.
Mission
Our mission is to make as many people as much like Jesus Christ in the shortest time possible.
There are three key points in our mission, and all three spring from the Great Commission given in Matthew 28:19-20: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age” (NIV). First, there is evangelism. We want to reach as many people as possible with the grace and truth of Jesus Christ. Second, there isdiscipleship. We seek to teach new believers to obey all that Jesus taught his followers, so they can grow to be more like Jesus. Third, there is the element of time. Jesus tells us that he will be with us to the end of the age—but that means that there will be an end to this age. In other words, we do not have forever to accomplish our mission. Our purpose is to work tirelessly and urgently for the kingdom of God in the time remaining.
