Good Shepherd UMC at Baltimore, Maryland is a friendly Christian community where we welcome others to join us in our worship and service to God. Our emphasis is on learning and understanding the Bible and following the example of Jesus and his followers.
The vision of Good Shepherd UMC is to make an impact for God, here in Baltimore, Maryland by helping people understand the enriching messages of eternal hope given to us by Jesus Christ through His words and deeds. Come just as you are - we'd love to get to know you better.

Service Time




Good Shepherd UMC is part of the Hampden/Woodberry/Remington/Mount Washington Multiple Charge Parish of United Methodist Church. Good Shepherd shares ministry with both United Methodist and ecumenical churches in the immediate area. Besides ecumenical services of worship during special seasons of the church year, there is an active neighborhood food pantry and community services office that provides emergency assistance to the local population. In addition, Good Shepherd UMC has an active, 5-Star United Methodist Womens' unit, and provides a weekly ecumenical fellowship, entitled "The Friendship Circle." Due to the elderly population of the church, which draws largely from the two elderly apartment buildings known as Roland View Towers, there is concern for the plight of the elderly in the immediate community.
