We are a small, established church in the growing city of Forney, Texas. We are mission-minded, active within and for our community. We are theologically progressive, in keeping with the historic reformed phrase “reformed and always being reformed according to the Word of God.”
We offer weekly communion (effective September 2019).
FPC Forney is a multi-generational congregation with a diversity in ages. Our membership and our leadership is comprised from people diverse in color, culture, language, sexual orientation, and marital/family status. We have vital, life-giving ministries including worship, bible studies, and service to our community. We are open to the future, discerning the “new things” God is up to. We follow Jesus by welcoming the stranger and sharing our stories of faith.
We are part of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). We share ministry with other Presbyterian churches through our regional council, Grace Presbytery.
