First City Church was born in a vision of a church where God's grace would abound to all. The genesis of the church began with ten couples who were called to start a new church in Pensacola. Our name was selected because Pensacola is "Florida's First City." The first worship service was held on February 17, 2002. From then until now it has been a "God Story" the entire way because God has graciously supplied our every need. The real "God Story" of First City, however, is not so much about how we started as it is about people and lives that are being changed by God. The Lord is bringing together a diverse group of people at First City, rich and poor, black and white, old and young, those who have walked with God many years and those who are just beginning their journey, to reach out to the Pensacola community with a message of love, acceptance and abounding grace. God wants to include everyone in His story and we'd be honored if you would join us as we all seek to discover our own unique place in His story.
