Welcome to First Christian Church of Oakland, a church for ALL people because God's love is for all people. We are a multicultural, multigenerational, open and affirming community connected to an ever growing relationship with God. We always strive to share a relevant and transformative message within a friendly atmosphere.
We celebrate every Sunday morning at 11 AM in our sanctuary, and each service is a little different:
The fist Sunday of the month is specifically designed to meet the needs of children and younger families.
The second Sunday of the month is contemplative and meditative.
The third Sunday of the month is oriented around music, spoken word and justice themes.
The fourth Sunday of the month offers a traditional service.
The fifth Sunday of the month is an emerging and kinesthetic service, and we meet in our Fellowship Hall.
