Denomination: Baptist
Our Purpose
Our purpose is to help each other grow in our walk with the Lord, share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, encourage the church family, and use the talents God has given us in ways that bring glory to Him.
Our Priorities
Establish a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Grow daily in our walk as Christians.
Share the good news of Jesus with others.
Our People
At Faith Baptist Church you will find a loving family atmosphere where you can come and grow in your love and knowledge of God. Like every family, we are not perfect. That is what makes being a part of the FBC family such a blessing. We encourage each other, bear each other's burdens, and enjoy worshipping our Savior together in a safe, family atmosphere.
Our Process
So how do we fulfill our purpose and priorities? It starts by modeling the early church. In chapter two of the New Testament Book of Acts, after the people heard and understood the preaching of the Word of God, they repented of their sins and were baptized. From that point on four key activities became common in their gatherings:
They met to hear the word of God taught. This is how we grow individually.
They met often to get to know each other at gatherings called fellowships. This is how we grow as one body united in Christ.
They gathered for the Lord's Supper. This is one way we grow in love for God as we worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as a church family.
They prayed together. This is one way we bear one another's burdens and praise God for His goodness and grace.
