Denomination: Christian Church
FACC is a family church, with a mission to build and strengthen the entire family, from birth to going home to be with Jesus
We believe in developing people to face life's challenges, and to help people be strong believers in a day and age where so much truth is watered down. We do this through our regular services as well as strong children's and youth ministry, men's and women's ministry, and discipleship programs to help believers to mature in their faith and experience victory in life.
We are unashamedly "charismatic in expression"
Labels are unfair to ascribe to anyone, and sometimes even harder to overcome, but the best way to explain it is this: we believe what the Bible says. We believe that God never took anything away from us (speaking of the gifts of the Holy Spirit), except for sickness, sin, poverty and disease. We make room for the move of the Holy Spirit in our services through the gifts listed in 1 Corinthians 12, and let God be God in our midst. We are passionate in worship, and express ourselves in a way that honors God for who He is, and what He has done for us.
We have a strong desire to fulfill the last words of Jesus, the Great Commission. (Mark 16)
Acts 1:8 tells us "but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth." We believe in starting locally, in our own communities, by hosting outreaches in many different forms, such as: Children's neighborhood outreaches, weekly street teams, citywide outreaches, billboard and media ministry, and much more. We also support traveling evangelists as well as missions in Mexico, the Philippines, and elsewhere. We have prison outreaches, as well as reaching into our local Parr jail. We have a hospital chaplaincy program, and a food pantry to help those who need something to eat.
