Having been led, by the Spirit of God, to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour; and having professed our faith and having been baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit; we solemnly and joyfully covenant with God and with each other.
As a church community, we promise, with God’s help, to walk together in Christian love and unity. We will promote the growth of this church in truth, holiness, compassion and vision. We will sustain the church’s worship, ordinances, discipline and beliefs. We will contribute cheerfully and regularly to the support of the ministry of our church and its partners in serving Christ and sharing His good news in our families, communities and throughout the world.
As individual believers, we promise, with God’s help, to follow Christ in every aspect of our daily lives. We will practice Christian devotional and spiritual disciplines. We will follow Biblical standards in our words and actions. We will seek to lead holy lives with integrity and to nurture physical, mental and emotional well-being. We will serve Christ and share His good news in our families, communities and throughout the world.
As a church family, with God’s help, we further promise to care for one another in mutual Christian love and remember each other in prayer. We will celebrate each other’s joys and offer help in times of sickness and difficulty. We will show empathy in our feelings and courtesy in our speech. We will be slow to take offense and always ready to seek reconciliation.
We make these promises believing that the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit is with us all.
