Denomination: Free Methodist Church
Cross-walk Community Church has somewhat of a unique history. It came about by the merging of two different congregations.
One of the congregations was the Burlington Congregational Christian Church (worshiping and serving in Burlington for 19 years) and the other was the Burlington Free Methodist Church (worshiping and serving in Burlington for 26 years).
Burlington Congregational Christian Church officially closed in March 2010 and the two congregations began worshiping God together on March 1, 2010 as Cross-walk Community Church.
The congregation has focused on our unity and the things that make us one in Christ rather than denominational differences.
We are a family of bible-believing people worshiping God together with love for God, for our community, and for each other.
Cross-walk Community Church seeks to love God with all our heart, all our mind, all our soul, and all our strength; we also strive to love our neighbour as ourselves.
