Denomination: Interdenominational
CCH Vision
We seek to be relevant, connected people, radically changed by the love of Jesus, impacting our neighbors, near & far, with transforming truth and dynamic compassion.
Our Mission
Our church exists to help every person come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and to develop as His disciple.
What We Believe
Our core beliefs come directly from the Bible itself, and are anchored in the amazing truth that God loved his creation so much that he sent his only son, Jesus, to make a way for us to experience hope, healing, purpose and eternal life. (John 3:16-17)
We believe…
…there is one God, eternally existing in three persons (Romans 8; Ephesians 1:13-14).
…the Bible is the inspired word of God and the final authority in life and doctrine, a lamp to our feet and light to our path (II Timothy 3:16).
…Jesus Christ is the only Son of God, who died for our sins and rose from the dead, “the Way, the Truth, and the Life” and “no one can come to the Father except through” him (I Corinthians 15:1-8, John 14:6, Acts 4:10-12).
…every person has worth as a creation of God, but that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).
… salvation is a free gift of God, and we are saved by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9).
…forgiveness of sin and the promise of eternal life are available to those who trust in Christ as Savior and Lord (John 3:16).
…all who accept Christ should repent of sin, confess their faith, and be baptized into Him (Romans 10:9, Acts 2:38).
…that God’s intention for marriage is established in the Word throughout the Old and New Testaments as the original and foundational institution of all human society. The covenant of marriage was established by God as a one-flesh union between a man and a woman, designed to be the life-long, exclusive, and reflective of the relationship between Christ and the church (Genesis 2:18-24; Matthew 19:4-6).
…God gives His Holy Spirit to dwell in the lives of believers as a guarantee of our inheritance and salvation through Jesus (Acts 2:38, II Corinthians 1:22, Ephesians 1:14).
…the church is the body of Christ on earth, empowered by the Holy Spirit to continue the tasks of reaching the lost and discipling the saved, helping them to become fully devoted followers of Christ (Ephesians 4:1-16).
…every member of the body is a minister; the church staff and shepherds are to help equip the members for their ministry (I Peter 2:5, Ephesians 4:11-12).
… Jesus Christ will one day return, and all who have been saved will be with the Lord forever in eternity (I Thessalonians 4:13-18).
