Christ Lutheran is a actively involved in the community through local initiaves that include outreach to children through school lunch programs,kids clubs, and feeding the poor. There is a choir. Bible Study happens twice weekly. There is a men's group. A Health and Wellness Committee brings presenters in for after worship presentations. The Restorative Practices designed by the Internaltional Institute for Restorative Practices are used regularly to create discussion around hard decisions and vision. Christ participates in Full Communion with the Anglican Church as part of the Peterborough Anglican Lutheran Covenant, consisting of four Anglican and one Lutheran church. With a council of four members from each parish, the Covenant provides opportunities for joint worship and education, support during interim ministries and discussion about the futures sustainability of five churches in Peterborough.
