Christ Church is a faith community where God’s grace and truth meet, empowering Christians to: joyfully worship the living Lord, faithfully grow disciples who make new disciples, sacrificially and intentionally reach out to the local community and beyond, with mercy and compassion, to impact the lives of those Jesus died to save.
Our Vision
As the family of Christ Church, our vision is to be a growing communityof faith, passionately and prayerfully modeling the life and earthly ministry of Christ Jesus. We will demonstrate the relevance of Christianity through traditional, contemporary, and creative expressions of our faith that glorify God and nurture personal spiritual growth. We will create a grace-filled and nonjudgmental environment that encourages our youth to mature in their faith and live out their love for Jesus. We will identify, train, and support believers as servants and leaders, to carry the ministry of Christ Church into Vero Beach and the world through discipleship, evangelism, outreach and mission projects. We will patiently seek the leading of the Holy Spirit to acquire adequate facilities from which to stage strategic mission and ministry such that Christ Church becomes the best church it can be for Vero Beach and its environs.
Our History
Christ Church held its first service on April 13, 2008 in the Rose Garden at the home of Roy and Mary Schick. Since then our mission and vision have grown into what we feel God wants for our church. We feel it is our goal to spread the love of Jesus Christ to the churched and un-churched in our local community, nationally and internationally.
Christ Church Vero Beach is a member of the Gulf Atlantic Diocese within the Anglican Church of North America (ACNA) which unites nearly 1,000 congregations across the United States, Canada, and Mexico into a single Church. The ACNA is recognized as a province of the Global Anglican Communion, comprising approximately 85 million members, by the Primates of the Global Fellowship of Confessing Anglicans.
