Christ Church welcomes Christians and those who seek to understand Christianity in the Thornton-le-Fylde area. Our aim is to make contact with and encourage others to join us in our life-enhancing Christian journey.
Christ Church at Thornton-le-Fylde, Lancashire is a friendly Christian community where we welcome others to join us in our worship and service to God. Our emphasis is on learning and understanding the Bible and following the example of Jesus and his followers.
The vision of Christ Church is to make an impact for God, here in Thornton-le-Fylde, Lancashire by helping people understand the enriching messages of eternal hope given to us by Jesus Christ through His words and deeds. Come just as you are - we'd love to get to know you better.

"Open Doors" service
A relaxed and manageable service for all with particular appeal to families and anyone not used to church services. "Open Doors" is a service of the word and you are welcome to stay for refreshments after the service.
For those wishing to partake of communion, there is a BCP communion service following on from Open Doors at midday.
First Sunday of every month EXCEPT January, August, September and December. Occasional variations may occur - see facebook page or enquire via church office.

Friendly conversation, coffee and biscuits and usually a crafts / cards / book stall. Open to all. Monthly, except in January.

(On the first Tuesday of the month the service includes prayers and sacramental ministry for wholeness and healing.)

Afternoon service with tea & coffee afterwards. Ideal for those who find mornings are not as easy as they used to be.

Morning Prayer
Every Thursday at 9:00 AM for ½ hour
Stepping Stones: bereavement coffee afternoon
A coffee afternoon, open to all who have been recently bereaved. Coffee or tea, chat and a listening ear. Run in conjunction with Trinity Hospice and the Linden Centre.
Every third Thursday at 2:00 PM for 1 hour
Evening Prayer
Every Thursday at 5:00 PM for ½ hour
