Christ Church welcomes Christians and those who seek to understand Christianity in the Dore area. Our aim is to make contact with and encourage others to join us in our life-enhancing Christian journey.
Christ Church at Dore, South Yorkshire is a friendly Christian community where we welcome others to join us in our worship and service to God. Our emphasis is on learning and understanding the Bible and following the example of Jesus and his followers.
The vision of Christ Church is to make an impact for God, here in Dore, South Yorkshire by helping people understand the enriching messages of eternal hope given to us by Jesus Christ through His words and deeds. Come just as you are - we'd love to get to know you better.

Holy Communion
A quiet, said service of Holy Communion, with a short reflection/homily
Every Sunday at 8:00 AM for ¾ hour
Morning Worship with Baptism
An opportunity for worship and to welcome all ages for Baptism
Every first Sunday at 10:00 AM for 50 minutes
Morning worship and Communion
A service attended by people of all ages based on "A Service of the Word". Music is led by a worship band and supplemented by the organ. Children and young people join in the first part of the service and then, in term time, usually go to their own groups. Holy Communion is celebrated once a month.
Every second third fourth and fifth Sunday at 10:00 AM for 1 hour

An evening service of Holy Communion, with the worship led by a robed choir and organ.
Every first and third Sunday at 5:30 PM for 1 hour
Evening Prayer
A service of sung evensong including a sermon. It is a quiet, contemplative act of worship. A robed choir and organ leads the singing.
Every second and fourth Sunday at 5:30 PM for 1 hour
