Christ Church welcomes Christians and those who seek to understand Christianity in the Denton area. Our aim is to make contact with and encourage others to join us in our life-enhancing Christian journey.
Christ Church at Denton, Greater Manchester is a friendly Christian community where we welcome others to join us in our worship and service to God. Our emphasis is on learning and understanding the Bible and following the example of Jesus and his followers.
The vision of Christ Church is to make an impact for God, here in Denton, Greater Manchester by helping people understand the enriching messages of eternal hope given to us by Jesus Christ through His words and deeds. Come just as you are - we'd love to get to know you better.

Service Time



Queen's birthday Afternoon Tea
Festival on the weekend Friday 10 - Sunday 12 June 2016 to celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday and her role as head of the Church of England.
We are holding a sumptuous afternoon tea served on the lawn (weather permitting) or in the hall of our Grade 2 listed church. Fresh sandwiches and homemade cakes, scones and lots of tea.
Musical accompaniment will be by the Reddish Choral Society. There will be a heritage display of the last 90 years of our parish. Tickets £5 on the door. Everyone welcome.

Rainbows
Rainbows meet in Church Hall in term time.
Term time,usually closed in school holidays.
Tuesday at 6:00 PM for 1 hour
Wednesday
Drop-in
Every Wednesday ‘Drop- in’ at Christ Church 10- 12 for coffee and fellowship.
Wednesday at 10:00 AM for 2 hours
Mother's Union
Mothers' Union is an international Christian membership charity that aims to demonstrate the Christian faith in action through the transformation of communities worldwide. Our members are not all mothers, or even all women. They are single, married, parents, grandparents, or young adults just beginning to express their social conscience. Mothers' Union provides, for all four million members, a network through which they can serve Christ in their own community - through prayer, financial support and actively working at the grassroots level in programmes that meet local needs.
Every first Wednesday at 7:30 PM for 1½ hours

Meets in the Church Hall - term time.

Enquiry Hour
Please come to our enquiry hour if you want information about weddings and baptisms at Christ Church & St George's. Not open on Thursday 19th May.
