Denomination: Non Denominational
Chesterville Community Church is an independent church rooted in the best Bible-based Christian beliefs and Wesleyan traditions.
We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired, infallible, true Word of God.
It is the true rule and guide for faith, practice, and life.
✝ Our mission ✝
Daily let us be examples of Christ's love,
as we prepare God's people for eternity.
Welcome!
We're a new community church with a rich and long heritage - worshipping God here since 1833. Our church home is a landmark built in 1851 that's on the National Register of Historic Places. Please join us in worshipping our Creator, Savior, and Mighty Counsellor.
The Apostle's Creed summarizes our beliefs about God well:
We believe in God, the Father Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth;
And in Jesus Christ his only Son, our Lord;
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead, and buried;
the third day he rose from the dead;
he ascended into heaven,
and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
We believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic (that is, universal) church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.
