Celebration Church at Columbia was founded in 1973 as Long Reach Church of God. Prior to the first public service, Bishop Robert S. Davis, Sr. & Sister Doris Davis led prayer and planning sessions in their home. They would go on to serve the congregation as Pastor and First Lady until December 2003. As a trailblazing leader, Pastor Bob's pastoral ministry has impacted local, national and international communities. Many ministry initiatives that were launched through the vision of Bishop & Sister Doris are thriving to this day. Through 30 years of Bishop's leadership, the fellowship experienced phenomenal spiritual, numerical and physical growth.
In 2004, after serving as Assistant Pastor for 15 years, Robert S. Davis, Jr. (Robbie) was named Senior Pastor. Pastor Robbie's visionary leadership, solid Bible teaching, and Celebration's ongoing development of life lifting ministries are helping many people maximize their lives in Christ.
Celebration Church at Columbia is located in the Village of Long Reach in the heart of Columbia, Maryland. Today, with over 2,500 members, Celebration continues to equip men, women, boys, and girls to take their next step(s) toward Christian maturity.
