We are on a mission — to bring together a community of people committed to knowing Jesus Christ and making Him known locally and globally. It’s a large undertaking, but one that holds great rewards. This mission drives all that we do.
We are a diverse group of people from varying backgrounds, cultures, and experiences, yet we are united in purpose.
At Capital City, we thrive on spreading God’s word and His purpose. This mission moves us beyond ourselves to personally engage those across the street, around the corner, down the road, and around the globe. World missions is a big part of who we are as we support over 40 missionaries and organizations on a monthly basis. Capital City Church is a part of the Assemblies of God fellowship of churches.
Our Sunday experiences are casual and relational in style with great music and a challenging, life-changing message of hope. The goal in all we do is to support the spiritual journey of all who attend whether children, teens, or adults.

Since its beginning in 1990, Capital City Church met in a number of locations before settling into the current building, a former health club, in 2003. Lead Pastor Shane Hart accepted the reins from the founding pastor in 2008 and continues to lead the church forward with vision and passion.
