Denomination: Assemblies of God
At Bethel we have a desire to help the community around us and through a variety of activities we reach out to people of all ages and abilities.
Mission
“As Christ’s body, the church, our aim is to bring Christ’s love to those around us through friendship. We desire to have fellowship with God and each other as a family of believers trusting God’s direction for the future. And to be faithful in our service for God.”
What We Do
Our weekly program includes worship (Sunday), a life study group (Tuesday), food (Thursday and Friday), craft groups (Monday and Wednesday), Kids clubs (Sunday and Thursday), and other special events. We are also a distribution centre and warehouse annex for “Stoke-on-Trent Foodbank”.
On the second Sunday of the month we enjoy a special evening of celebration and fun with the live band that plays at all of our services. We work closely with the Trussel Trust and host a Foodbank outlet.
Our church is also part of the Assemblies Of God which is a collective of over 500 churches throughout Great Britain.
