Bethany provides opportunities for people of all ages to grow in faith & serve our
community. Grounded in a rich liturgical tradition, our worship is vibrant, with a diversity
of music. We worship at 10 am on Sundays with Holy Communion offered at every
service. Sunday School and Keenagers, a 50+ group, provide fellowship & fun.
Environmental stewardship is an important value to Bethany & we continue to adapt our building & property to best utilize these resources. Outreach to Oxford County initiatives such as: Inn Out of the Cold, Operation Sharing, Adelaide Soup Bowl, Meals-on-
Wheels & Nursing Home worship leadership connects us to our local community. Outreach to Canadian Lutheran World Relief, Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child & Christian Salvage Mission is part of our strong commitments to support the larger church and global needs. We welcomed a Burmese family from a refugee camp in Thailand in April 2016. Special congregational events include: Easter breakfast, June picnic & fabulous potluck lunches. A Children's Corner in the sanctuary welcomes young families and enables them to participate in worship while the parents supervise their children as they play quietly. Faith in Film, Animate Bible studies & God in Music offer opportunities for indepth discussion with our Pastor & each other.
