Denomination: Disciples of Christ
Back Swamp Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ) is a Bible-based, New Testament Church, rooted and grounded in the ministry of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We are a New Testament Church because our salvation, hope, and eternal life came through the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that the Church was established before the foundation of the world (Ephesians 1:4), annunciated during Christ's ministry on earth (Matthew 16:16), and inaugurated at Pentecost (Acts 2).
In God We Trust
Our sufficiency as a body of believers lies in our faith in the supremacy of God the Father; Jesus' birth to the Virgin Mary, life, death, resurrection, and soon second coming to judge the world; and the ministry of the Holy Spirit in spiritual gifts and fruit. The Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ is Trinitarian as we believe in the divinity of God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit-Three in One and One in Three.
