Denomination: Anglican Church
Welcome to the Anglican Parish of Springwood and Winmalee. We are a network of evangelical Anglican churches serving the Blue Mountains. We consist of seven weekly congregations meeting across our three sites in the Springwood-Winmalee area.
Our mission as a church is threefold. We seek to reach people with God’s good news about his Son, Jesus Christ. We seek to build people in their relationship with Christ. And we seek to send people into mission and ministry, serving Christ in the world.
You are welcome to join us at any of our regular church meetings. When you come, you will find a warm welcome and hear a message that comes straight from the Bible and is applied to real life in today’s world. The heart of the Bible’s message is not about what we must do for God but what God has done for us in sending his Son Jesus Christ to die for our forgiveness and rise again to give us new life. This message is the good news that we seek to celebrate at all of our church meetings, with the aim of encouraging each other to live by faith in Jesus through all of life.
There is also a wide range of mid-week and occasional activities in our family of churches. This includes small-group Bible study meetings, men’s ministries, women’s ministries, ministries for tiny-tots, kids, youth and seniors. There is something to suit almost everyone! Come along to church and we would be happy to connect you with our various activities.
We hope to meet you soon!
